SOOOOO as I've mentioned in my last post, I've been working on a new project lately.. and I'm finally ready to reveal it !

I'VE STARTED A NEW BLOG.

I know you must be wondering, "why the f* did you do that, when you already have this one.."
Well, because honestly, I wanted to pursue my whole mini blogging career a little further, so I wanted a more professional, self-hosted blog with my own domain name and everything. I know I've could've just done that and still kept this blog... BUT I just really wanted a fresh start. To make it extra professional and just... nice. and new.

So for all my readers , please go and give my new blog some support ! I'm no longer going to be posting in this one anymore unfortunately, but if you've been enjoying my posts, please go and follow my other one !

Monday morning was a chill one this week. I was planning on going to Yoga in the morning, but I got sick over the last 2 days (how am I always sick? I have no idea) and woke up with a splitting headache so I decided against it. I ended up just lighting up my candle and just working on a new little project that I've started. I'll share the project with you guys soon, but for now it's going to stay a secret.

This is one of my favorite candles at the moment. I wanted to buy it for the longest time during the winter, but it finally went on clearance at target so of course I had to pick it up.

It's quite similar to the Black Tie candle from Bath and Body Works (which is one of my favorite candles of ALL TIME) in the sense that it is a deep, woodsy, manly scent that kind of resembles a cologne. I love these scents, especially for my home.

I'm currently taking a class right now at school that teaches you about blogging and how to maximize your efforts on it and how to potentially build a business out of it. I'm really interested in growing my youtube channel and my blogging into something bigger.

This is my little safe haven right now. I haven't really left this spot much all day.

I'll try to post again soon, I have some cooking stuff I wanna share with you guys sometime soon.

NEUTRAL MATTES ft. Urban Decay Vice 3

Here's my first make up look that I created with my new Urban Decay Vice 3 palette. I have been obsessed with this palette. It's got such amazingly buttery, pigmented beautiful colours, it's hard not to love it. I've decided I'm going to try to put this palette to use as fully as I can and not leave it unloved like some of my other palettes.

And what better way to do that than to create a bunch of looks with it for you guys !

I wanted to start with something basic and natural. Sure it's got some gorgeous eye-catching colours as well, but what's great about this palette is that it's got some amazing matte shadows as well !

So being a matte eyeshadow lover, I created this little neutral number for you guys.

I love how this look turned out.

URBAN DECAY VICE 3 PALETTE + swatches

A few days ago I went into Sephora on a whim, because I wanted to treat myself to something nice. I had originally had my eye on the too faced natural eye palette but when I actually had the palette in my hands to swatch and play with, it just seemed too similar to most of my other palettes. My other palettes are mostly the same color scheme. It's all that natural, beige, gold, bronze, and brown pattern. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my neutrals. And no matter how much I lust after the beautiful and bright colours sometimes, I will always be a neutrals girl.

But this purchase was supposed to be a little treat for myself.

I would still consider purchasing the Chocolate Bar palette, but maybe a little later on when I have some extra dollars to spare. But for now, since I was going out of my way to splurge on something special, I wanted to get something a little different.

I've known about the vice palettes for quite sometime now, and have considered buying some of the previous versions. So I decided to give it a try this time around.

This palette comes with 20 never-before-seen colours that UD came out with. Despite having a few bright colours, I think this palette is still extremely wearable and contains a few BEAUTIFUL neutrals that I know I won't be able to live without now.

And can we take a moment just to admire this packaging ? WOWZA. it is flawless.

Here's an overview of all the eyeshadows. So far, just from swatches, I feel like my favorites are Alchemy, Downfall, Defy, and Sonic.

All of these eyeshadows are very buttery and creamy. I only had a problem with the colours Truth and Last Sin when swatching it, but it was nothing too bad. Truth was just not AS creamy as some of their other matte shades, and Last Sin has a little bit of fall out. But like I said, it was nothing crazy. They were still extraordinary eyeshadows.

The palette also came with a duo-ended brush. The handle is gold, and on one end it is a fluffy shader brush, quite similar to the blending brush on one of the sides of the duo-ended brush that came with the Naked 3 palette, but smaller.

And on the other side was a long, slightly tapered, blending brush that would be amazing for blending colours in the crease.

Down below I swatched all the eyeshadows in this palette for you guys, from right to left, row by row.

First row : Truth, Dragon, Vanity, Alien, Last Sin

Second row : Undone, Freeze, Lucky, Alchemy, Angel

Third row : Downfall, Heroine, Reign, Bondage, Defy

Last row : DTF, Brokedown, Bobby Dazzle, Sonic, Revolver

NATURAL BRONZE GLOW ft. Naked 1 palette

I wanted to go back to my trusty naked 1 palette and create a look that only consisted of colours that were from the original naked palette.

This is probably the most owned palette in the UD naked line, so I thought, not only do I get to play around with this gorgeous palette again, but it would also be super easy for anyone that watches the video to recreate the eye makeup, because chances are... they own this palette.

THE HISTORY OF WHOO ; SPONGE FOUNDATION

So as promised, I said that I would try and find out some more information about this sponge foundation before I went ahead and posted my video review about it.

I didn't give too much information about the product in the video because I honestly didn't know very much about it, but if you want to know what I think about the product, then go ahead and watch it.

This is post is to accompany that video to tell you about what this product is.

So the product I'm talking about is The History of Whoo's Gongjinhyang Seol Whitening and Moisture Glow Cushion. (that was a mouthful for sure).

It is this great product that I would describe as a "sponge foundation".

The foundation is soaked in a sponge that is kept inside of what looks like a compact.

The product is described as a long lasting high coverage foundation that is moisturizing and leaves the skin with a silky glowy finish. It also contains Chilhyang palbaeksan and Gamguk extracts that help brighten dull skin and improve the look of any dark spots.

and of course, it has SPF50+

It contains 15g of product and is usually sold with one free refill as well.

This product retails for around $65

I wasn't able to find too much information about it since it is a korean cosmetics brand and I can't read korean, but I'll leave The History of Whoo's website here so you guys can check it out.
